How to make shawerma with leftover dough with beef chilli filling and chicken filling also easy tahini and Hummus complete recipe
For pitta bread
– Leftover wheat dough 300 gm
– Olive Oil ½ cup
– Yoghurt 3 tbls
– Sugar1 tsp
– Baking soda1/4Tsp
– Sesame seeds ½ cup
– Sesame oil 4 tbls or as required
– Chickpeas boil 1cup
– Garlic clove 2
– Lemon juice 1 tbls
– Salt 1 pinch
– Olive Oil ½ cup
– Ice cube as required
– Olive Oil 1 tbls
– Paprika ½ tsp
– Olive 1-2
– Oil 2 tbls
– Boneless chicken 250 gm
– Salt to taste
– Garlic powder 1 tsp
– Red chilli powder 1 TSP
– Turmeric powder ½ TSP
– Chat masala 1 TSP or to taste
– Lemon juice 1 tbls
– Garam masala ½ TSP
Instant beef chilli filling
-oil 4 tbls
– Beef strips boil 350 gm
– Ginger & garlic chopped 2 tbls
– Salt 1 tsp or to taste
– Crush red chilli 1tsp
– Oyster sauce 1tsp
– Soy sauce 1tsp
– Vinegar 1 TSP
– Tomato paste 2 tbls
– ketchup 2 tbls
– Corn flour 1 tbls
– Red capsicum 1
– Green capsicum 1
– Orange capsicum 1
– Onion 1
– Brown sugar 1 tbls
– Salt ½ tsp
– Olive Oil 3tbls
– Lemon juice 2 tbls
– Mustard paste
Cabbage, cucumber, Tomato, lettuce
-add yoghurt,oil ,sugar , baking soda mix well
– add wheat dough mix well add flour if needed
– knead well grease with oil Leave for 5 minutes
-make small ball and roll pitta cover with kitchen cloth
Heat pan and cook from both sides on low medium flame
toast sesame seed in a dry pan for 3-4 min on a low flame until seeds are fragrant and change color we need very light brown color.
Add toasted seed in a blender and add oil and blend well until it becomes a creamy paste.
Remove skin from boil chickpeas add Hummus ingredients gradually and blend. Add ice cube and oil Blend well and scrap side in between and again blend. Keep repeating until it is creamy and well mixed. Hummus is ready.
Chicken filling 1
Mix all ingredients with chicken and leave for 30 minutes
Then saute for 15 minutes on medium heat
cut into thin slice or piece set aside
Dry beef chilli filling 2
Heat pan add oil
Add chop garlic and ginger fry
Add boiled beef strips fry for few minutes
Add all ingredients and vegetables cook for few minutes
Mix cornflour with water add into this beef chilli mix well & cook for few minutes more it’s done set aside
Mix all ingredients with veggies
Take pita bread spread Hummus add stuffing sal
id and sauce as you like roll it, wrap in butter paper.
Shawarma is ready.
