How to make liquid soap today here on SWEET HOMESTEAD FIELDS! In today’s video, I demonstrate how to make liquid soap from 2 soap bars. It is a very simple process. It is also very useful if all you have is some bars of soap and you would really prefer liquid soap to wash your hands! You can use any regular bar of soap you would normally use on your hands. It doesn’t take that long and is very simple and fast.

Liquid Soap
2 bars of hand soap
cheese grater
a pot
a whisk
water
That’s it!

Grate the soap.
Put into a pot.
Fill pot with 20 cups of water.
Stir a little.
Place on stove.
Put heat on med. – low whisking continuously.
Whisk until completely melted.
Will take approx. 12 – 15 min.
Let cool a few hours or until room temperature.
Pour or use ladle – into a gallon container, filling 2/3 of container.
Let sit several hours or over night.
Shake vigorously.
Fill the rest of the way with water.
Shake again.
Use as you normally would any liquid hand soap.
