Dehydrating Frozen Mixed Vegetables & How I use Cloth for my Racks Instead of Mesh Dehydrator Trays.

My freezer is on the fritz! I need to dehydrate NOW! Watch as I dehydrate frozen mixed vegetables in this video. I have a Presto Dehydro and have used it for years. If you are using one that you are able to set a temp then that’s great!
For these frozen vegetables you will need to set it 125-145 depending on what type you are using.
Dehydrate for 8-11 hours. I rotate my trays in between because the bottom rack seems to dry faster.
I used 100% cotton, food grade cheese cloth to cover my trays but you could also use white linens cut from a sheet or an old t shirt. I would stick with white cotton.
I use 300cc oxygen absorbers in my mylar bags when storing dry goods.
For quart size jars you could use 100-300cc oxygen absorbers OR vacuum seal with a food saver with an attachment with no need for oxygen absorber.
If you have any questions, please comment and I will try my best to answer.

Thank You for Watching & Have a Blessed Day!
